Unity in Yellow: Assumption University’s Tribute to the King

Campus Decoration for His Majesty

Unity in Yellow: Assumption University’s Tribute to the King

In a heartfelt tribute to His Majesty the King, Assumption University has launched a comprehensive campus decoration project, set to run from April 1, 2024, to His Majesty’s 72nd birthday on July 28, 2025. This initiative aligns with the university’s commitment to honoring the King and celebrating his contributions to the nation.

The decoration project will see the university’s Hua Mak and Suvarnabhumi campuses adorned with displays that reflect the cultural heritage and profound respect the Thai people hold for their monarch. Yellow, the color associated with the King, will be prominently featured in flags, banners, and floral arrangements throughout the campuses.

Highlights of the decoration initiative include:

  • Grand Displays: Both campuses will feature large, beautifully designed arches and banners, welcoming visitors to leave messages of loyalty and admiration for His Majesty.
  • Commemorative Exhibits: Throughout the campus, there will be exhibits detailing the life and achievements of His Majesty, allowing students and visitors to learn more about his invaluable contributions to the country.

Assumption University invites all members of its community to participate in this initiative by contributing to the decoration efforts and sharing their creative ideas. This project not only honors His Majesty but also strengthens the university’s sense of community and national pride.
