On August 24, 2022, the Confucius Institute at Assumption University (CIAU) organized Chinese Painting Circular Fan activity in the Library 4th Floor, CL Building, Suvarnabhumi Campus. This event was held to celebrate Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s 90th Birthday Anniversary 12th August 2022. Nearly 60 lecturers, faculty and students participated. It is an honor to have Rev. Bro. Dr. Prawat Sutthinont, Deputy Vice President for Academic Affairs presented at this occasion.
Participants painted the white jasmine flowers on the Chinese circular fan with the guidance of the Chinese teachers of CIAU. They also blended their best wishes and gratitude to their mothers in their paintings.
This activity not only showed the beauty of Chinese painting and calligraphy to the lecturers, faculty, and students of Assumption University of Thailand, but also paid tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
