AU Community Plants Trees in Celebration of the King’s Birthday

The Assumption University community came together in an inspiring show of unity and dedication to celebrate His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary. The event, organized by Assumption University and led by President Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff in the 72 Million Trees for Forest Restoration project.

The evening began with eager participants gathering behind the Faculty of Medicine Building at 4:30 PM for preparation. By 5:00 PM, the planting commenced, filling the air with a sense of purpose and joy. Together, the AU community planted numerous trees, contributing significantly to the government’s initiative to honor His Majesty the King’s 72nd birthday by restoring forests across the nation.

Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, President of Assumption University, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the collective effort: “Today, we have not only planted trees but also sown the seeds of hope and unity. Our contribution to the 72 Million Trees project is a testament to our commitment to sustainability and our deep respect for His Majesty the King. Together, we are creating a legacy of green for future generations.”
