AU Commemorates His Majesty the King’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary with Solemn Eucharistic Mass
Assumption University of Thailand (AU) commemorated the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary with a solemn Eucharistic Mass on July 25, 2024. The event, held at The Chapel of St. Louis Marie de Montfort on the Suvarnabhumi Campus, drew members of the university community together in a heartfelt tribute to His Majesty.
A Tribute to His Majesty
The celebration began at 14:00 hours with an assembly at the chapel, where participants gathered for a Homage and Tribute Ceremony to His Majesty. The ceremony was presided over by Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, President – Rector Magnificus of Assumption University. The event featured the singing of the “Royal Anthem” by all participants, a moving demonstration of unity and respect.
The highlight of the afternoon was the commencement of the Holy Mass, led by Rev. Bro. Dr. Amnuay Yoonprayong. The Mass, marked by its solemnity and reverence, provided a profound spiritual experience for all attendees, reflecting the university community’s deep admiration for His Majesty the King.

Bancha Saenghiran expressed his profound respect and admiration for His Majesty, stating, “His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn’s dedication to the well-being of the Thai people is truly inspirational. This Eucharistic Mass is our way of honoring his tireless service and expressing our heartfelt gratitude for his leadership and guidance.”

The next Eucharistic Mass in honor of His Majesty’s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at The Chapel of the Annunciation, Hua Mak Campus. The schedule is as follows:
08:30 hrs. (Thai Mass)
10:00 hrs. (English Mass)
Attendees are respectfully requested to wear yellow attire, symbolizing their honor and respect for His Majesty.
