Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Champions AU Blood Drive
Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science celebrated the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua‘s 6th Cycle Birthday Anniversary. This activity organized by A. Napaswan Namboonsri, Chair, Student Development Committee.
The 1st floor of the MSM Building at Assumption University of Thailand (AU)’s Suvarnabhumi Campus buzzed with the spirit of generosity as students, faculty, and staff came together for the “Give Blood, Give Life” donation drive.
From the early hours of the morning, the atmosphere was filled with a sense of purpose as donors lined up to contribute to this noble cause. The event ran smoothly from 08:30 until 15:00 hrs., with the nursing students and faculty coordinating every detail, ensuring that the process was efficient and welcoming.
Dr. Phat Prapawichar, Dean of the Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science, expressed her gratitude to the participants, stating, “Each drop of blood donated today represents a lifeline for someone in need. We are proud of our university community for stepping up and making a difference.”
The event attracted a diverse group of donors, including first-time participants and regular donors who returned to continue their tradition of giving. Many expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to contribute to a cause that directly impacts lives.
These donations will be a crucial resource for hospitals and medical centers, helping to save countless lives in the weeks to come.
